Dual Three-Phase Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machines Vector Control Based on Triple Rotating Reference Frame

This paper presents a triple rotating coordinate transformed vector control method for dual three-phase permanent magnet (PM) machines. In the proposed scheme, variables are converted to three sets of ?? components directly, which 120° electric degrees different from each other. It omits complicated six-dimensional matrix and reduces computation greatly. The relationship with space (VSD) was mathematically analyzed. By ensuring consistency in stationary reference frames, suggested can not only achieve same fundamental performance as VSD but compensate imbalance current caused by harmonics back electromotive force. addition, belongs multi redundancy theory, is maybe good solution fault-tolerant operation. Finally, prototype PM machine tested. experimental results agreement theoretical analysis.
